You can access this feature by heading over to Settings >  Settings for my calendars > Choose your calendar >  Event notifications >  Other notifications > Daily Agenda > Email.

2. CUSTOMIZE CALENDAR VIEW:

You can set your calendar to display the contents in daily, weekly, or monthly views, depending on your preferences. Simply click on Settings > View Options and check or uncheck relevant options.

3. CHANGE THE STARTING DAY OF THE WEEK:

Perhaps you don’t follow the traditional Monday – Friday workweek and would like your calendar to comply with the same. You can change the default settings by going to Settings > View Options and fill in the desired day in the Start Week On segment.

4. DRAG AND DROP EVENTS:

Instead of creating a new event right from scratch whenever you need to reschedule, simply drag and drop the event in question to the new date. Additionally, you can drag the horizontal edges of the event box to match with congruent time slots.

5. SHARE EXACT LOCATION DETAILS:

To avoid confusion and misunderstandings before an important event, send the exact location details to the participants. Google Calendar is neatly synced to Google Maps, allowing you to feed in the address of the location under the Event Details tab.

6. INCORPORATE OPTIONAL ATTENDEES IN YOUR MEETINGS:

If you deem it desirable to add people who are not necessarily required to be present for a meeting, but would benefit from it in some way nonetheless, you can set their participation status to Optional. You can do this by clicking on the “Make some attendees optional” link under Add Guests. Then, manually choose the optional setting for preferred candidates.

7. ENABLE WORLD CLOCK FOR BETTER COOPERATION:

It is easy to miscalculate timings when you’re dealing with international clients. This can lead to missed meetings and crossed deadlines. Google Calendar offers a neat feature to help curtail all such issues. Simply click on Settings > World Clock > Show World Clock

8. DUPLICATE AN EVENT:

The Duplicate features can save you time and effort in case you choose to conduct the same event twice or multiple times. This can be achieved by duplicating the event by clicking on Pencil Icon > More Actions > Duplicate/Copy. Additionally, the option to make adjustments to the newly created event remains viable.

9. SHARE YOUR CALENDAR WITH YOUR TEAM:

This comes in especially handy when you’re working with team members with varying schedules. You can share your calendars with them to function synergistically and maximize productivity. To do this, simply head on to My Calendars > Settings and Sharing > Share with specific people > Add People.

10. SET DEFINITE WORKING HOURS:

If you regularly struggle with maintaining a healthy work-life balance, this Google Calendar Feature can come in exceptionally handy. It sends an alert to anyone looking to schedule an event with you outside your working hours. To enable this feature, go to Settings > General > Working Hours. Fill in the time slots as per your requirement.

11. TRANSFER MEETING OWNERSHIP:

Emergencies may arise where you may need to hand over the meeting ownership to someone else for them to operate on your behalf. This is pretty easy to do; all it takes is for you to click on the right of the meeting name, then More Actions > Change Owner > Enter their Email > Confirm.

12. TAKE HOLIDAYS INTO ACCOUNT:

It can be quite useful to keep an eye on upcoming statutory holidays when you’re working with clients in different regions. You will be offered a list of holiday calendars that you can choose the most relevant option from.
